During Chelsea’s time in Tasmania, she was ecstatic to find dens of her beloved and endangered Tasmanian devil in the wild. Unfortunately, these dens were found inside an area scheduled for logging on the face of Quamby Bluff. Chelsea’s passion and enthusiasm for the protection of the beautiful and rare has inspired me to fight to protect another disappearing subject–native forests. This particular morning the early morning mist backlit by the rising sun next to Quamby Bluff took my breath away.
